Cambodian land casino operator StartLive says it has developed its own software technology to enter the business-to-business end of the live dealer casino vertical, combining its land and online activities into one package.
 
The company was founded in 2011 as a licensed land-based casino in Svay Rieng Province, Cambodia, but the fierce competition motivated management to develop technology enabling it to  provide online gaming solutions to attract business.
 
The initial move to live dealer activity involved out-sourcing to a third party, but operational problems persuaded the Asian company to develop its own technology and systems in-house over a period of trial and error, refining and upgrades in the Asian market. The company now employs 120 people and has moved into the international market.
 
Working in conjunction with the company's land operations Lucky89 Casino and Resort and Lucky Ruby Casino and Resort, Start Live Casino represents a combination of the company's land and Internet interests, providing a service in which online gamblers can sit and bet at the same tables as the land casino players.
