Saturday April 9,2016 : IRISH ONLINE BOOKMAKER CLOSES…FOR NOW.
Penny stock public company SeanieMac International opts out of Boyle Sports platform.
Irish penny stock public company SeanieMac International has announced that it has temporarily ceased its online gambling operations after shutting down its betting service with Boyle Sports.
The operator said in a statement this week that it plans to re-launch on a new platform in August this year, although it did not give details of who the supplier might be.
Players with positive balances in their gambling accounts will have funds returned to their registered card in due course, the statement advises.
SeanieMac recently merged with fellow operator ApolloBet and work has started on the two sites, which combined boast a registered player base of 110,000 punters.
In related news, SeanieMac has also announced that the two sites have joined the British Horseracing Authority's Authorised Betting Partner program, and that it has inked a sponsorship deal with the Jockey Club under which it is to sponsor 40 races.
Shane O’Driscoll CEO of SeanieMac commented:
“After two years since launching our first betting website, we have set 2016 to achieve some major milestones in launching a new platform, securing key sponsorships and aggressively growing our business. We think it will be a truly ground breaking year for us.”
