PLAOR extends celebrity interaction to online games.
 
The US poker and games start-up PLAOR has announced the successful relaunch of Hollywood Poker with a new mission to extend celebrity interaction with fans in an internet gaming environment.
 
The start-up claims it has lined up a stable of celebrities who will be on deck to play online poker games with ordinary folks, with much of the proceeds going to the charity of each star’s choice.
 
PLAOR’s founder and CEO Mark Caldwell, is an executive with impressive experience, having previously worked as vice president of engineering for Disney and Playdom.
 
Caldwell is assembling some powerful ambassadors, including actor Kevin Pollack who created a stir at this year's World Series of Poker, running deep and entertaining both fellow players and railbirds with his amusing asides.
