Fulltilt Poker Live Again By November 2012

Thursday September 13, 2012 :  FULL TILT POKER LIVE AGAIN BY NOVEMBER?

Players report receiving emails updating their details

Earlier this year, when the sale of Full Tilt Poker to Pokerstars was confirmed, there were predictions that the resurrected company would be operating under new management by November, and events this week certainly seem to indicate that possibility.

First there was the news that Full Tilt was hiring again, and on Thursday non-US players on a number of message boards started reporting that they had been emailed by the new management seeking to update and verify account details in preparation for a resumption of operations in early November.

The emails also suggested that Alderney will no longer be the licensing jurisdiction of choice for Full Tilt – players were told that the verification moves have been prompted by the need to comply with security requirements attendant on an Isle of Man licence.

And once accounts have been updated, players will be good to go on their balances once operations start.

The email details the information and supporting documents that will be required, and players contacted would be well advised to take advantage of the clearly well-planned pre-launch process.

Americans still await details from the Department of Justice regarding the reclamation of their account balances, although it is known that the Department is currently involved in seeking a third party company to handle the complicated process, which reportedly will involve tens of millions of dollars and over a million players
