Just Two Tables Remain in the WSOP Main Event, here are the Final 2 Tables 2022 Wsop. The World Series of Poker rattles on towards its July 20 conclusion, and the Main Event now sees just two tables remain. On Day Seven of the World Series of Poker Main Event, there were thirty-five players still running. By the end of the day, just eighteen remaining, each guaranteed to win a cool $323,100. Of course, the hopefuls aren’t overly bothered about the three hundred grand consolation prize at this point – they want to make it to the final table.
Sayonara to Salas While Tran Survives
By the end of the day’s action, 2017 finalist and 2020 winner Damian Salas was waving sayonara to the WSOP Main Event. A twenty-seventh-placed finish for the Argentine was far below what he thought capable after open-shoving a king-ten into a king-queen. At the same time, Kenny Tran managed to scrape into the final two tables, following a backdoor flush over Aaron Mermelstein, who ended up busting and bowing out in twentieth place.
Wonder Woman at the Final 2 Tables 2022 Wsop
Each year, one can’t help but wonder when another woman will make the final table. Not since Barbara Enright in 1995 has this happened. Gaelle Baumann and Elisabeth Hille have narrowly missed out in the past. Now, a New York-based recreational poker player could end up breaking the spell. Efthymia Litsou only has a short stack of eighteen big blinds, so she’ll need a bit of luck to progress but never say never.
What Remains on Day Eight?
As the game continues with the Final 2 Tables 2022 Wsop, there are some players who are standing out as potential winners. One of these is France’s Karim Rebei. The player has 34,750,000 chips, and while that may not be the biggest stack at the tables, Rebei’s super aggressive style has paid off for him thus far. Other fancied players include Matija Dobric, and Asher Conniff, of Croatia and the United States, respectively.
As the 53rd Annual World Series of Poker tournament continues, other events are taking place. We’ve got a $50K High Roller No-Limit Hold’em Event on the fly, alongside the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. game. Event 85 will see the $1,500 Closer, No-Limit Hold’em Flight A game begin, while there is also ten grand up for grabs in the 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em Championship. Alongside those events, everybody will be keenly watching how the action pans out and who makes it to the final table in the Main Event.
