Fantasy sports meets adult entertainment

MGT Capital Investments and adult entertainment company Vivid Entertainment LLC have partnered in an exclusive deal that will see the development and marketing of a new online fantasy sports offer at Vivid Bet Sports.com

MGT owns daily sports wagering platform DraftDay.com and launched a new free-to-play platform Daily Fantasy Legend on Facebook early December 2014.

In November 2014, MGT entered into a revenue sharing agreement with Las Vegas based daily fantasy sports tournament provider FanWars LLC in November 2014 for the provision of the technology infrastructure for Fan Wars.com

MGT said the partnership creates a marriage between fantasy sports, one of the fastest growing internet business segments, and the adult entertainment industry that it says is one of the largest sources of unique online traffic.

"We are deeply excited about working with a synergistic partner like Vivid,” commented Robert Ladd, chief executive officer of MGT.

“As over 80% of fantasy sports players are males with a mean age of 34 years, the demographics show we are addressing the same audience.”

Under the terms of the deal, Vivid.com and its other websites will offer one-click access to the new offer while utilising promotional opportunities via its Vivid Radio and Vivid TV services.
