Americas CardRoom OSS
The OSS is designed for players of all levels, from those just getting in on the fun to those who have been around the block a few times already. It has a wide selection of events with NLH, PLO, and PLO8, and includes regular, turbo and hyper-turbo structures.
The OSS typically includes just one $1 million guaranteed event, but this one has two. The first starts on Sunday, December 8th at 3pm ET and has a buy-in of $540. The second has a $215 buy-in. This tourney will have 13 Day 1 options starting November 20th and the players who advance will battle it out on Sunday, December 15th at 3pm ET.
ACR Venom
The $6 Million Venom is the Featured Event of the OSS and will get underway on Wednesday, November 27th. The $2,650 buy-in may be a big chunk of money for some players, but there are other options that will get you into it for much less like Step Tournaments, Skip Tournaments, Regular Satellites, Mega Satellites and Cyclones.
Cyclones, if you haven't already heard, are a combination step tournament and blitz satellite. ACR will introduce them on November 14th and you first select a step out of the seven available – the lowest only costs $0.25. Keep advancing each step after accumulating 5,000 chips and after completing all seven steps, you win a $2,650 Venom seat.
