2022-23 WSOP Circuit Schedule Announced
The 2022 WSOP Circuit Schedule is set to come to an end on Wednesday, July 20, with the Tournament of Champions. However, don’t feel down if you’ve missed the action at Ballys/Paris Las Vegas this year. The annual 53rd World Series of Poker may be ending. There are plenty more events to get involved with this year.
Just this week, the WSOP Circuit schedule was announced for 2022-2023. Returning for its 18th season, a total of twenty-five stops have been added to the calendar for this year’s circuit, and a further ten more are set to be announced by the WSOP over the coming weeks.
The End of the WSOP Tournament
Before we get to the circuit, we have the end of the WSOP to look forward to. The tournament has yet to feature Mixed No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack competitions. There is the $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em game and a handful of no-limit turbos. The WSOP 2022 will culminate in the Tournament of Champions. Beginning on Monday, July 18, the event is scheduled to last for two days. Events will use the same Big Blind Ante format first utilised in the 2019-2020 season.
What to Expect from the WSOP Circuit?
Immediately following the conclusion of this tournament, the WSOP Circuit (WSOP-C) kicks into gear on Wednesday, July 20, at the Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma. From there, we will move to the Grand Victoria Casino in Chicago, Illinois, and Harvey’s Lake Tahoe in Nevada, with Caesars Southern Indiana, in Elizabeth playing home to the final games. You can also expect Harrah’s Cherokee to be on the tour (August 4).
Expect standard poker tournament structures and payouts along the way, with several dozen gold ring events, $250 buy-ins, and a $1,700 main event. WSOP online events are scheduled for those wishing to join the action online.
As with any “on tour” event, everything is subject to change. The poker promoter reserves the right to change the events and schedule. So you should stay tuned to the World Series of Poker website for any subsequent adjustments. However, if you feel as though you haven’t been as involved in the WSOP thus far and want to get involved in the action for yourself, you can’t go far wrong with the ten-month-long tour. It is set to kick off in a little under a week’s time.
