Greentube has announced the acquisition of BlueBat

Greentube acquires a majority stake in Canadian social casino game developer.
 
Novomatic’s interactive gaming subsidiary Greentube has announced the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Vancouver, Canada mobile social casino games developer BlueBat Games for an undisclosed consideration.
 
Greentube said in a statement Tuesday that the deal further expands Greentube’s U.S. presence by giving it “…access to a technology extension, allowing it to develop white label solutions for land-based casino operators”.
 
The two companies have previously worked together on a business-to-consumer social casino product called Magic Key Casino, which features a selection of Greentube’s play-for-money games repackaged as free-to-play products.
 
BlueBat was founded in 2011 by two former employees of Electronic Arts Inc. The firm’s games inventory includes a selection of virtual penny slot machine games.
