Euro 50,000 buy-in will create a massive prize pool
 
The World Series of Poker 2012, again scheduled for Cannes in France and sponsored by Barrière Poker.fr, will sport a new Euro 50,000 buy-in Re-Entry NLHE High Roller event that is certain to draw in top international players.
 
The organisers also announced this week that there will be seven bracelet events in a poker extravaganza that includes 69 other competitions and cash games, all planned for the two week period of the tournament.
 
The seven bracelet events in Cannes will include two six-handed events, a mixed-max event, a shootout event, two pot-limit Omaha events, and the Euro 10,000 buy-in WSOP Europe main event beginning on September 30 2012.
 
The new High Roller event will start on October 2 and is scheduled to run over the following three days.
 
WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart said in a statement: “We can’t wait to get back to Cannes for WSOP Europe, where the stars of poker come to shine. We truly believe 2012 is the year we accomplish our goal to make WSOPE the richest and most prestigious event on the European calendar.”
