SHUFFLEMASTER GEARS UP FOR U.S. ONLINE GAMBLING

Saturday October 8, 2011 :  Vegas expo will showcase latest internet-ready versions of company's popular poker games

The important G2E gambling expo in Las Vegas will be pulling industry people in this week, with special sessions on internet gambling and several mainly land-gambling-focused companies clearly thinking ahead in exhibiting internet-ready versions of their products.

Among them will be Shufflemaster, whose new interactive division is preparing a key position for itself in an industry where momentum is building for federal or state legalization, creating a strong opportunity for US operators to offer legal online poker to the significant American market.

Shufflemaster Interactive will showcase designed-for-internet versions of proprietary player vs. dealer style games like Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Let It Ride and Three Card Poker, initially for licensing to operators in legitimate jurisdictions outside the United States, and probably from around December 2011.

However, at the same time the company is preparing for legalization with plans to offer free-to-play versions suitable for use on US social networking websites, which players will be able to download and use on a wide range of cellphone and tablet channels.

This will assist in building both knowledge and brand identity against the day when Americans will finally be able to play poker online without looking over their shoulders for Big Brother.
